  6. STRING QUARTET is a tuner for violin, viola, cello and bass

  17. PRINT!.EXE   Printing utility.  Prints User's Manual and Order Form.  
  18. CONFIG.DAT   STRING QUARTET data file.
  19. ERRORS.DAT   STRING QUARTET data file.
  20. MANUAL.DAT   DOS text file.  May be printed using the DOS "PRINT" command, but
  21.              is printed with page numbers (4 pages in total) and proper
  22.              margins etc. using PRINT!.EXE.  It contains instructions on
  23.              running and using STRING QUARTET.

  25. STRING QUARTET will load and shutdown faster when run from a hard disk. Simply
  26. copy all the files with the DOS "COPY" command.  The manual provides further
  27. instructions on copying files.

  29. To run STRING QUARTET or the printing utility, the default directory must be
  30. the one where the STRING QUARTET files are stored.

  32. To run the printing utility type: print!

  34. To run STRING QUARTET type: sq

  36. STRING QUARTET checks your computer's display adapter and automatically sets
  37. up the program for either a monochrome or color display.  However, some
  38. adapters cause STRING QUARTET to display in color mode when in fact a
  39. monochrome monitor is present.  This occurs most often with laptop Liquid
  40. Crystal Displays.  If your screen seems to be displaying STRING QUARTET or the
  41. printing utility improperly, run either program with a "/m" to force a
  42. monochrome display.
